Erica is both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) having previously practiced at Hazelden Betty Ford Outpatient in NYC and led a private practice for several years. As a counselor and psychotherapist, she works with a range of clients and issues to help develop healthier coping skills and gain insight to the underlying cause of their presenting problem. By creating individualized plans tailored to each person, she can focus on what can change in the present and plan for the future to improve quality of life.
She received her undergrad degree from Indiana University (IU), and her masters in Mental Health Counseling from the City College of New York. She is a native New Yorker who through her work has helped patients understand the broader context of their individual counseling and help destigmatize mental health issues.
